The international standard Social Accountability 8000 is a management model which is set to guarantee the ethical behaviour of all the organizations which join in.
It recalls:
• some conventions and recommendations of the ILO (International Labour Organization).
• the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
• the International Convention on Children’s Rights of the ONU.
• the Convention of the United Nations to eliminate all forms of discrimination against women.
