
The Convention covers the provision of furniture for primary schools, middle and upper-and in particulare:
• Common classroom furniture (desks, adjustable
desks, chairs, blackboards, cabinets,
coat);
• Classroom computer furniture (Computer tables);
• Furniture for classrooms by drawing (the benches,
stools and chests of drawers door drawings);
• Auditorium furniture (chairs with and without
the tablet, tables);
• Furniture for cabinets (cabinets and shelving)
• Furniture for the storage of records and documents(folders,
security cabinets and binders);
• Dining tables, cupboards and dressing broom closets.
The Convention will begin on July 1, 2008, expires June 30, 2010, has a duration of 24 months and may be renewed up to an additional 12 months.
In line with the principles of the Green Public Procurement, all products are to be supplied direct reference to environmental criteria (wood from certified forests, use of recycled steel and plastic, certification CATAS formaldehyde 4 stars, etc...) and is granted the use of practical materials recovery.
Also included in the Convention free service of design and a guarantee of 5 years.
To accede to the Convention, governments concerned should make orders for delivery through the portal Intercent-ER, giving rise to a three-year contract with the Supplier contractor.
